dryer will not heat/stuck in cool down mode

Start by making sure the dryer has proper power going to it, it should be approx 240v AC. Next I would check the heating element, thermal fuses, and thermostat for continuity. There is a fuse and thermostat on the side of the heating element housing and one more thermal fuse on the blower housing. While you are testing those I would also test the thermistor at the same time.
