Oven door lock is gone crazy!

Hello Doc,
My church recently had a Tappen Pro Range donated and has recently developed an issue with the oven door lock and fan. Every 30 minutes or so, the oven locks itself and the fan comes on (sometimes together, sometimes separately). So far we have been afraid to try and use any of the other functions. It seems like it wants to go into self cleaning mode at will (just an idea).
Any suggestions....I can handle any repairs, but have no clue on how to diagnose.

Hi John,

First check to see if one of the buttons on the control board is sticking? The only things that could cause this would be a bad control board or maybe a short in the wiring. You could unplug the stove and look over all of the wiring closely and if it looks okay then it is probably the control board. The control board for this model has been discontinued and is no longer available.
