stove went POP and the oven stopped working

    Model Number: FEFL78CBC
    Brand: Frigidaire
    Age: More than 10 years

I had the oven on for about 20 minutes, there was a loud POP noise. I realized the lights went out on the stove top. I reset the breaker and was able to get the stove top to work. the digital control panel is not working so I am unable to turn on the stove....
    any suggestions?

I am assuming that the stove top indicator lights work and the oven light. This indicates that the 120 volt supply is good and that is what powers the control board.

Since you heard a POP you may be able to visually find the problem as it sounds like something shorted out and probably blew the control board.

    Unplug the unit.
Check both oven elements for bubbles/blow out in the ceramic coating.
    If OK
Remove the back and check the wiring.
    If OK
    Check the control board itself.

If you cannot find the problem then I would replace the control board.
It would be a good idea to check that the oven elements are not grounded before doing this.
Check from each side of the elements to Neutral/ground.

the indicator lights and all burners work. it is the oven that that is not working. the light in the oven is working...
    thanks for all your help,"

The blow out of the element would be in the oven.
