I started my dishwasher the other night and heard the motor humming. I left it assuming it would go and went to bed. My wife told me she started, and I had forgotten to (It figures). Her cycle did not finish either, and she noticed the humming as well. I ran the diagnostics on it and got codes 4-3 and 10-1 back in that order.
4-3 is No communication between the electronic control board and the wash pump motor (No surprises there with the humming).
10-1 is Dispenser electrical problem.
When I ran the diagnostics I didn't get a hum at all, so I don't know if it tried the motor or worked fine. I can hear a click before the motor starts humming and before it stops, so I assume the relay is working fine. I know the dispenser works because it opened during the diagnostics. I am going to try inspecting and cleaning the impeller tonight. Is there any way to work out what is actually causing it not to start?
