The triple heating element on my GE glass cooktop had a failure where the metal wire/coil snapped. I purchased a replacement part from PartsDr.com. The replacement part appears to have minor cracks in the ceramic surrounding the metal wire/coil. The part passes a continuity test on all three connections, but I'm concerned that if the metal wires/coils aren't seated properly, the part may fail.
I need some help determining if the part is faulty (and should be sent back) or if this is typical.

Thanks in advance
