Samsung Dryer Not Heating, but heating element has continuity

    Model Number:
    Brand: Brand
    Age: Less than 1 year

    Model Number: DV45H7000EW
    Brand: Samsung
    Age: Less than 1 year

My Samsung dryer will not heat. It turns on and runs fine, but there is no heat. I am not getting any fault codes on the dryer display.

I first checked the breaker, and it had not tripped. I then examined the dryer for obvious issues, such as lint clogging/poor airflow. I took apart the dryer and tested the heating element. I get continuity between the two heating element terminals after testing with a multimeter (the resistance is a little over 10 Ohms), so there is no break in the heating element.

I have so far been unable to find a wiring diagram for this dryer, so I am unsure on what other tests I can perform.

    Thanks for your help.

The first thing to do is check the power.
It is not uncommon for half a breaker to tripp without actually tripping the breaker.

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times. Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
Check the voltage at the wall receptacle
    L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
    If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
    If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.
Do this with the heater off and on.
Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!!
