Ice Maker not ejecting ice - heater issue?

My icemaker has stopped dispensing ice. I used a hair dryer and managed to release the cubes however the subsequent cubes stuck also.

I understand that the ice maker has a heating element and I therefore suspect that it is not working.

Is the heating element replaceable or do I need to replace the entire unit?

Looks like this is a European model so I do not have access to the parts.

Look the unit up on European parts sites, they may show a breakdown of the ice maker.

If they only show the ice maker as a single unit then try looking up that part number tyo see if there is a furtyher part breakdown.
