Thank you for the video, that is very helpful. This type of noise is usually caused by either a bad drum roller or idler pulley (belt tension pulley). We recommend to replace all of these parts at the same time while you have the dryer apart. Whirlpool sells these parts in a kit for your dryer, except the belt in the kit is not compatible with your model dryer. In most cases just replacing the roller or idler pulley will fix the problem but in some cases the shaft that the roller or idler rides on can also be damaged. If the shaft is badly damaged it may also need to be replaced at the same time. Let us know what you find and how the repair goes.
These are the parts for your model dryer:
Drum Roller, Belt, & Pulley Kit - Part # PD00002451 (mfg # 4392067)
(note: belt in this kit is not compatible with your model dryer)
Drive Belt - Part # PD00003553 (mfg # WPW10112954)

I received the kit and ordered the belt separately. Just put everything back together last night. No sound whatsoever, so that seemed to do the trick.
Thanks again for the help.i wouldn't have known without digging deeper that the belt that came with the kit wouldn't fit properly.
Thanks for the update, I am glad to hear that it took care of your problem. I have updated the status of this thread to FIXED.
