    Samsung Washer WF410ANR/XAA Spin error

    Model Number: WF410ANR/XAA
    Brand: Samsung
    Age: 1-5 years

Hi, My washer's rotation seems to be obstructed by something. Where should I look to troubleshoot. The problem occurred due to overloading the washer. What part could have snapped? Thankx.
Here is a video to how it spins currently.

Can you turn the inner tub by hand?

Was the washer doing anything out of the ordinary before it started doing this?

The last time I was using it, it was making a loud noise while in the wash cycle and not turning smoothly. I realized it was overloaded and immediately stopped the machine and emptied the washer. I then removed the back cover to see what was wrong. That is when I took this video.

There are two tubs on this washer, an inner tub and an outer tub. The inner tub is the stainless steel tub that your clothes are loaded into and the outer tub goes around the inner tub and contains the water inside. Something could be caught between the two tubs or something like the flange shaft assembly on the back of the inner tub could be cracked. You will most likely need to disassemble the washer to see what you can find.

Thank you, I'm was afraid you would say just that. I have seen videos on how to replace the flange shaft assembly also called the spider, it seems too complicated. I had a repair guy come out and he didn't have the tool to open the bolts on the back but he was 100% certain it is the motor that is bad and wants to charge me $150 parts and $175 labor. I don't trust his diagnostics one bit. Is there an easier way to see if it the flange shaft assembly is broken without taking the whole thing apart? Also is there a stainless steel shaft assembly that I can buy so I don't have to do this in the near future? Thanks again for all your help.
