My Frigidaire side-by-side MODEL: FRS26R2AW8 manufactured in 2004 has a problem where the freezer temperature constantly fluctuates from 0 degrees to about 55 degrees over the course of a day. The food and ice will completely freeze and completely thaw over and over again. (Note: When this problem first started, the food and ice would only partially thaw and then refreeze over the period of a week. I thought I was imagining it or the door wasn’t closing. Does anyone know what is causing this?
I forgot to mention that I have searched internet and there are very different answers. I am really looking for a diagnostic type of proceedure so I can do some troubleshooting.
