I have a 2013 Kenmore freestanding icemaker w/ drain pump (model 106.89583707) that began making a high-pitched whirr/whine this morning. The ice basin was ~2/3 full with the most recent ice appearing to have been, at least to some degree, melted and refrozen - there was a large block of fused cubes that were clearer than normal and somewhat smooth. I turned the unit to "off" for 30-60 minutes, dumped the ice, and then turned it back to "on" in hopes that it would resume normal operation. When I turned it on, the unit began making a grinding noise rather than the previous high-pitched noise. I've attempted to run a clean cycle with a similar resulting behavior - grinding noise and no water. The unit is cleaned annually with icemaker cleaning solution.

Here's the noise it's making https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNcD...ature=youtu.be

Thanks!
