We're having a problem with our GE GLD4560V00SS Dishwasher - a couple of days ago it started randomly beeping and the control panel buttons became non-responsive. The beeps are very random - often a beep....pause......beep beep - and the Normal Rinse, Heated Dry, and Steam lights will remain lit and the rest of the panel is non responsive. The lights would eventually turn off but you can't press anything at that point. Opening and closing to active the interlock switches brings those three lights back on but you can't press anything else.
Eventually though, after some random time of just sitting and leaving it be - the buttons would then be responsive and the dishwasher would work "fine" - but trying to use it again right away is the same issue - you open it and then close to activate the interlock switches - three lights light up - Normal, Heated, and Steam but you can't choose any other options. Any ideas if this is the interlock switches or the control boards? Even cutting power to it for minutes at a time, as soon as power is restored, it's the same behavior.
