refrigerator not cooling - motherboard relay clicks

    Model Number: gss25xsrdss
    Brand: GE
    Age: 13 years

I have inherited a GE side by side refrigerator that I want to turn into a kezzer fro my homebrew. When I plug it in a relay on the motherboard clicks about every second for about 15 seconds and stops for about 30 sec and then repeats. The fan does not come on and the compressor does not run. There are lights on in the inside and I can hear a motor running in the ice maker. I have pulled the compressor relay and overload and tested continuity using a multimeter. They check out. I also tested the compressor continuity and it looks good. I have read on the interwebs that the motherboard may have an issue and should be replaced. I wanted to get opinions before i pull the trigger and order a new board model # WR55X10942.
