I have the common Samsung French Door Ice Maker freeze up issue. The refrigerator was installed just over 3 years ago and the problem started about 18 months later. Water drips into the ice bin and the cubes begin to stick together making discharge difficult. Drips of water form on the front right corner of the ice maker room, drip onto the top of the deli drawer and eventually onto the kitchen floor. I must remove the ice maker every 2 months, force defrost and remove the ice buildup from the rear of the ice maker compartment. I see on your forum that some might have had success with a Control Board Assembly replacement. Is this really a potential solution?? Many thanks in advance.
