Icemaker stuck in heat mode

My icemaker stopped producing ice. While investigating I burned myself on the heating element on the bottom of the icemaker. Icemaker seems to be stuck in heat mode?

Could be that the motor or a switch is toast.

Often replacing the entire icemaker is the best bet.
