Roper RTW4640YQ0 Shaking Vibrating Violently--PLEASE HELP

    Model Number: RTW4640YQ0
    Brand: Roper
    Age: 6-10 years

I need your advice to diagnose the issue with this washing machine. It shakes, vibrates , walks for 5-10 seconds in the Rinse and Spin Cycles.
The washing machine is leveled properly. Is there a way to diagnose this issue? Does it need the drive bolt or the 4 suspension springs assembly?

    Thank you,

    Hi ahoss2000,

We haven't seen a good way to diagnose this type of issue you are having. Most often we see the suspension rods going bad causing these types of symptoms you are describing. If you aren't sure which part is going to fix the problem I would start by replacing those.

This is the suspension rod kit for your model washer:

    Suspension Rod Kit - Part # PD00023290 (mfg # W10780048)

Would I be able to see physical damage to these suspension rod/springs if I open the washer and look at the rods?

Not normally from what we have been seeing on these washers.
