Thermadore display temp wont hold temp setting reverts back

    Model Number: KBUIT4855E04
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: 6-10 years

    hello all,
im so glad i found this forum, hopefully someone can help us.
we have a pretty solid Thermador fridge which i think is same as whirlpool not sure,
but recently the display panel inside the fridge would make a beeping sound and it would shut off, and fridge would also not work.
so i had a good friend come and look at it and told us its the main board, so he took the board and replaced 2 relays and one capacitor, now the fridge turns on and no beeping sound, but now the lower part of the freezer gets cold and the top does not, another thing that happens is the display panel when we change the temps to 0 for freezer and 32 for fridge, it reverts back to 47/47, it will not keep its settings.
im sure oen of you might know what is going on, we were happy at least the fridge works and turns on...
could this be due to teh other 3 relays need to be changed on the main board?
could this be something to do with the damper?
could the actual display panel in the fridge be bad?
please if anyone can help us we would be so happy.
    thanks you everyone
