GE Front Load Washer Leaks on Fill

    Model Number: WCVH6800J2WW
    Brand: GE
    Age: 1-5 years

I have a GE front loading washer that is less than 2 years old, and it leaks on the fill cycle.
I removed the bottom panel, and checked the part that goes around the drum. Maybe it's called
a boot? There were no leaks from there. It seems to be up higher, near the dispenser, underneath.
Could there be a crack in the dispenser?

Here is the best way to confirm where your leak is from. Your description says
    "leaks on fills cycle."
First run your machine so that the water leaks appears, then
unplug and remove the wire clamp that holds the boot/bellows to the front of the washer.
Then fold the bellows back, and using a work light, you should be able to determine where
    the water is dripping from.
You should be able to see if the dispenser is cracked, but more likely the part to fail would
be the water inlet tube (it would be cracked). And you will be able to see if this is the
    failed part you need.

    That would be Part # PD00001153 (mfg # WH41X10118).

    Have a nice day!

I'm having the same issue. Water is dripping down from the top of the machine during the fill cycle. At first I thought there was just too much water pressure and it was spraying out of the mixing/detergent compartment. Then found your thread. I removed the bottom panel and watched the water drip down during the fill cycle. How do you unplug and remove the wire clamp that holds the boot/bellows to the front of the washer?. It seems the part you'd have me replace would be much higher and in the left upper back corner of the machine to see from the front behind the grey rubber boot. Do you have any pictures? Thanks!
