Maytag Refrigerator Compressor Won't Stop

My 14 year old Magtag refrigerator (MSD2657HEQ) is freezing in the fresh food section. Once the compressor comes on, it won't cut off. If I unplug it and plug it back in, it stays off for a while, but once it turns on, it stays on. Both the temp sensors for the freezer and fresh food sections passed the diagnostic test that is included with the wiring diagram attached to the owner's manual. Can anything cause this but the control board?

The control board is the most likely culprit since you say that the thermistors are OK.

It would not be a bad idea to measure the actual temperature in the freezer and the fresh food sections just to be sure that the unit is getting too cold.

I haven't actually measured the temperature, but I know if I leave the refrigerator on it freezes the orange juice and milk. Never has before.

I am assuming that the condenser/compressor fan also stays on when the compressor is on.

so my bets guess is that it is a control board problem.
