Unhappy Unable to program after replacing hv board on Maytag

    Model Number: mfi2569vem2
    Brand: Maytag
    Age: 6-10 years

Display started going on and off plus ice maker flap constantly opening closing. Fridge and freezer were no longer cooling and after researching all these symptoms online and you tube videos came to the conclusion it was the HV board. We ordered a replacement on Amazon, it was a genuine whirlpool part #W10310240. Received it and replaced and you could hear the fridge humming again and display came back on. Now following the instructions to program and canĀ’t get it to respond. I've pressed and held the door alarm button and then pressed and held the freezer temp -, released the door alarm button while still holding the freezer temp - button for more than the instructed 3 seconds. Nothing changes. I've done this procedure with both doors open, with the right door open and left closed, left door open and right door closed, with both doors closed. I have even unplugged it for 30 mins and tried again but still nothing. The freezer arrows respond and will change the display to either h2o or ice but the fridge buttons still read pe000. But the other buttons donĀ’t seem to be responding. Please help, anything else I have missed?? Felling frustrated! Thank you in advance.
