Jen Air Wall Oven control clock doesn't go on

    Model Number: JJW9530BAB
    Brand: Jenn-Air
    Age: More than 10 years

I pull my Jen air wall oven out to install an induction stove top. Before I reinstalled it, I checked to see if the power was going to the wall oven. After the clock went on, I turned the breaker off and then installed the oven back into the wall. When I turned it on, the unit did not go on. No display. I had it wired wrong, I didn't have it wired 220, so then I wired it the correct way and it still does not come on. I think I need a new control panel, but not sure. Is there a way to test what went wrong? Any suggestions?

Below is a link to a service manual "16010312 Jenn-Air Elect..." which includes this unit.

All I can suggest is that you double check your wiring.

I doubt that it is a control panel problem.
More likely a control board (display board) or a relay board problem.

If you have a meter then you could check if the correct voltage is going to the control board.
The wiring diagrams are on page 4-13 and 4-14.
To say the least they are rudimentary so have to be used with the wiring listing info.

The relay board is no longer available and it is the most likely suspect.
