so spent most of the morning reading about all the issues with the Samsung Ice maker. mine has been a pain since day one. i am at the point that i am going to order the part however i cant find out how to put fridge in the " forced defrost" mode.
do i just need to use a Hair dryer?
tried the Fridge and Energy buttons already with no succes.
Don’t use a blow dryer or heat gun...go on YouTube and search...their is another method depending on the model but I can’t remember the button sequence. Are you sure you are holding them down long enough and you have to get it just right sometimes.
yes i have held them down for the count of 30 and same scenerio.
google results are for other models unfortunatly. it seems they use mostly the same buttons though.
i guess i could just unplug it if using a hair dryer is not recomended
