washing machine will randomly freeze up during the wash cycle

    Model Number:
    Brand: LG
    Age: 1-5 years

LG washing machine will randomly freeze up during the wash cycle; everything stops and the control panel doesn't respond in any way - although it is still lit up. The only way to unfreeze it is to unplug it from the wall and restart the wash cycle. I ensure to only use the right amount of soap and never over fill with clothes. I'm including a video of the event. Any ideas/feedback is greatly appreciated.

A model number would be helpful.
If I can find a tech sheet for it, the sheet may have error codes etc.

Unplugging it to fix it is often a case where you are resetting/clearing an error or often it is a bad control board.

I could not fin da manual for your unit but did find one for a WT5070C unit.
Looks basically the same as yours just a few extra options.

You may have to join the site to download the manual.

I did not see and hidden errors in the manual but may have missed them.

I would clean check the connections at the control board.
