Washer won't spin all the time

    Model Number: TAWS800JQ2
    Brand: Estate
    Age: 6-10 years

My washer doesn't spin all the time and when it does it doesn't spin fast. I have replace the lid switch and motor coupling. I was wondering if it was the clutch that needs repair. I checked and there is no oil leaking underneath my washer. Thankyou for your time

The most common thing that we have seen on these washers that causes them to not spin fast is the transmission leaking grease. Grease will leak out of the transmission and then get onto the clutch, and that causes the clutch to slip and not spin fast enough. The easiest way to check for this without tearing the washer apart is to tip the washer back, and look at the insides of the washer. You will normally see grease splattered around the insides of the washer. If you see this grease, then you will need to replace the transmission and the clutch to take care of the problem. Let me know what you find.
