2019 Samsung Paddle Removal

I have a brand new Samsung fridge that seems to be great so far, but there is something wrong with the paddle for engaging water to come out. It only depresses on the left side. Not down the middle. So, my question is. How in the world do you get that out? I can get the selector portion out, but from there, I have no clue. Any help would be great. I ordered the service manual but it's 6 days out... It's the new samsung water layout so this may be a tough ask. Thanks to anyone with some advice.
