    Hi
New guys here. on my GE range, by the large heating unit, the center element does not turn on anymore (the other 2 do turn on). I bought the heating unit online and what I received I think has some issues. I hope I can explain it cleanly. Where the wiggly heating metal elements are sitting in this heatproof material, some parts of them are not sitting in the material and are loosened up.
My question is, is this OK to use? Please see the attached photos.

    thanks
