Chest Freezer thermostat search

Hello,
My chest freeze stopped working a week ago. Trouble shooting by a professional led to bypassing the thermostat and starting the compressor. A week later it's still running and keeping a really cool
-12 F. I have photos of the freezer and thermostat which I can send. I cannot find the model or Serial#. I bought this unit new so someone else didn't do away with the numbers.
Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
I'd buy a new one but this one fits happily where it is and new ones are either larger or smaller unfortunately.

You could remove the thermostat and inspect it for a part number and then use that number to search for a replacement.

Or you could remove he thermostat from the freezer and take it to a parts store that handles Kenmore parts.
Perhaps a counter person can find a match for you.
