    Electrolux EWMED70JMB0 Dryer no start

    Model Number: EWMED70JMB0
    Brand: Electrolux
    Age: 6-10 years

Lightening strike / power surge took out control board, display flickering. UI control knob LEDs not working prior. Replaced both items with current revisions.
    Control board - #809160302NH, purchased at partsdr.com.
    UI - #809160410, purchased locally.

Power up and attempt to run "installation cycle", when I press start nothing happens, well the UI beeps acknowledging start pushed but that's all.
    120vac at, J2-3, J2-4, J3-2, J5-1, J5-3, J7-2.
E91 randomly shows when I check for error codes but never shows on the operator screen. I can clear it, check again after attempting the installation cycle and no code.

DIAGNOSTIC MODE, all functions work as they should, motor runs both directions, elements heat and I can see the temp rise. If all functions work in "diagnostic mode" then why does it not start the installation cycle?

Assistance appreciated before I send this thing to death row! And my wife cringes at the thought of mismatched appliances.

Ok, two months with no input. Surely someone has experienced this.
With the limited diagnostic info available and all input conditions meet, seems I should order another control board?
Input from an experienced tech would be much appreciated.
