    Maytag Dryer overheating? Please Help!

    Model Number: medb200vq0
    Brand: Maytag
    Age: 6-10 years

My maytag bravos dryer is overheating and blowing 225 deg F air at the exhaust vent. Top and interior too hot to comfortably touch. I have replaced the thermistor, the thermostat high limit , and removed, tested and inspected the heating element
( No shorts and nothing grounded out or touching) I tested the thermistor and it checks out to 10000 ohms at room temp which is normal. I am suspicious that the control board is not controlling the heating element? Is there any way to check this out without purchasing a new board? No error codes indicated on display. Can anyone think of someting i might have overlooked? Thanks for anyones help !, Alan

Set dryer on air fluff(no heat) and it is still heating up to 220 deg

Dryer fixed! It was a relay on the main control board stuck closed. Put remanufactured board in and it works! Good luck everyone!
