Ice Maker making a clicking noise

    Model Number: DA97-13415B
    Brand: Samsung
    Age: 1-5 years

This is the ice maker I have.

In the first picture when following the link there's a little arm with circular holes tucked behind the plastic grate. The arm is screwed into the housing just below the blue reset button. This is the source of noise. The arm is hanging below the ice maker and clicks, like it's trying to pop back into place. I'm not sure what the issue is with it or why it's doing it. The ice maker has stopped producing ice and I think this may be related. Appreciate any help diagnosing this. Thanks!

I have a clicking sound coming from my ice maker also and I was curious if you found a fix.

My refrigerator uses the DA97-05422A. I believe you have a gear with missing teeth in the ice maker. At least that has been the cause in mine. Never could find just the gear. I've replaced my ice maker at least 4 times over about a 10 year period, due to the internal gears breaking.
