Freezer Evaporator Fan - air flow direction

    Model Number: ZISW42DSB
    Brand: GE
    Age: More than 10 years

I just replaced the evaporator fan motor in the freezer compartment (the freezer is the left french door of the unit). I got the motor kit from Parts Dr. It feels like the fan is blowing air in the opposite direction than before. My question - what direction should the evaporator fan blow the cold air? Down into the freezer compartment or up out of the freezer compartment into the top of the unit where the coils are located?
