GE Top Load Washer won't spin or fill correctly

    Model Number: WPRB8050D1WW
    Brand: GE
    Age: 6-10 years

I have a GE top load washer that has a couple of odd things happening.
    1. Won't always spin the clothes dry, but does seem to drain the water.
    2. Won't fill to correct level. Sometimes too little, sometimes too much.
    What do you think?

The first thing I would check would be the pressure switch hose. This is a common failure on this age of top load GE washers.
You can diagnose this visually by removing the front panel and inspecting the pressure hose.
Remove the hose where it connects to the tub (lower left corner), and disconnect it from the tub and inspect.
If it's clogged, replace the hose with Pressure Hose Part # WH41X365.
If that checks out OK, replace the Pressure Switch Part # WH12X10227.
