Fridgidaire oven - half of the controls work - oven elements do not work

what would cause half of the controls to light up and work while the oven elements do not work? i looked up exploded diagram and nothing shows for a control board for this model. could it just be a bad bake element? why would only half of the controls buttons to light up/work, while the other do not? ...

yes, the control board lights (half of them) do not work and the oven also does not work. but the stove top burners work sounds like a bad control board? why doesn't the exploded diagram show a control board? just curious.... thanks for quick answer Doc

I would first unplug the range, then remove the back panel. Make sure all of the connections to the control board are good, and look for any burned or broken wires. If everything looks good, then I would replace the control board. My diagram shows the control board. It is #20 in the diagram (see the attached picture). The oven heating elements being bad would not cause the control board to act this way. Although sometimes when a heating element fails, it will spark and short out and burn out the control board. If that is the case, then both part have to be replaced. Let me know how the repair goes for you.
