Would another model cook top work on my range?

Brand: Maytag
Age: 6-10 years

Cook top cracked while cooking. I can't find a replacement, but wonder if the top from a different model would work. My Maytag has 6 pin and 9 pin wiring connectors. Is that somewhat universal for cook tops and maybe a different model or manufacturer will plug and play? Thanks for any advice!
