I have tackled many electrical and mechanical beasts, but I’m on my first washer. Like the many fixes before it, this one is born of necessity as my 5month olds clothes start to pile up beside the broken washer. I purchased an lg front load washer that was throwing an OE code for $50, purchased the drain motor based on the previous owners statement that he had attempted all basic troubleshooting. I watched the video and everything went smoothly until upon reassembly I find that I don’t see any signs of a recirculation hose from the video and further research yields hints of a second pump as well...there is a clear place to connect the recirculation hose to, but there’s no hose. The service manual diagrams talk about “two pumps, one to drain and one to circulate the water, but only references it in that sentence before returning to ignoring its existence for the entirety of the manual. The pictures look the same as mine but don’t show me a hose that goes to the right of the drain hose and on the top of the drain pump assembly. Is this normal? Any suggestions on what to watch for when fixing the code? Any assistance would be great!k344 is marked in red;I don’t see a second pump on mine. The other items from the instructions were marked in green.Click image for larger version.
