My drain pump stopped working, so I disassembled everything and discovered a piece of metal stuck under the impeller. When I put everything back together, the pump works but it's leaking from the pump housing. The hoses don't feel wet, so I'm pretty sure it's coming from the junction between the pump motor and the housing.

While disassembling, I didn't pay careful attention to the angle the motor attached to the housing, and there was one short black screw for some reaosn, but both sides of the fitting are symmetrical so it shouldn't matter? There's a gasket around where the impeller fits into the housing which looks like it's in the right place.

Is there some trick I'm missing to get this water-tight or do I need to debug this more carefully to confirm the leaky part?
