I have an old Jenn Air S160 oven that still works great. One of the 4 burner control knobs recently broke. I figured this would be a straightforward fix; however, the post/shaft that the knob attaches to looks different on this knob vs the other 3.
Based on the different post/shaft and the newer looking screws, I'm guessing the previous owner must have replaced the Infinite Switch at some point. It looks like they used a plastic part to adapt from the short, square post on the switch to the Jenn Air knob. That plastic adapter is what is now broken.
I'm guessing my options are to either replace the Infinite Switch with one that matches the others or find another one of the plastic adapters (which I haven't been able to do yet). The latter seems easier/cheaper if I could find the plastic adapter.
Any help is much appreciated! Regards, John
