    washer was spinning

    Model Number: 110.24852300
    Brand: Sears Kenmore
    Age: 6-10 years

My washer started having problems spinning about a month ago. We then had to give it a spin by hand to help it start.
Now it won't spin at all even when it is empty. It does agitate and drain but will not spin
Could u please tell me what I need and the part #s. I have a Kenmore model #
    110 24852300. Thank you

Do you still hear the washer trying to spin when it gets to the spin cycle? The most common thing that we have seen on these washers that causes them to not spin fast is the transmission leaking grease. Grease will leak out of the transmission and then get onto the clutch, and that causes the clutch to slip and not spin fast enough. The easiest way to check for this without tearing the washer apart is to tip the washer back, and look at the insides of the washer. You will normally see grease splattered around the insides of the washer. If you see this grease, then you will need to replace the transmission and the clutch to take care of the problem. Let me know what you find.
