    Auger motor running on/off

    Model Number: Kfxs25ryms2
    Brand: KitchenAid
    Age: 6-10 years

    I have a kitchenaid fridge, model #kfxs25ryms2. The ice maker started making ice come out without the push pad being depressed. I took out the ice tray, and the auger motor still intermittently runs, on and off. Any thoughtson solutions or parts needed?

    I have a whirlpool GZ25FSRXYY2 doing the same thing. Did you ever get your problem resolved?
