Kenmore Stackable Electric Electric Dryer Won't Heat

    Model Number: 41784052500
    Brand: Sears Kenmore
    Age: 1-5 years

I have a Kenmore Stackable electric dryer that won't heat. I was told that the easiest thing to check quickly is the heat sensor. Could you explain to me how to do this?
    Much appreciate your help!

The heating element and thermistor are two common failures on your Kenmore dryer.
    **First Unplug Your Dryer**
    Now to test the thermistor:
    1. Remove the bottom panel and locate the thermistor. (See Picture.)
    2. Remove the two wires and set the OHM Meter to 400K.
    3. Test your thermister at room temperature. It should read approximately 50K Ohms.
If it does not, replace with
    Thermister Temp Sensor - Part # PD00000116 (mfg # 134587700)
