Hello, recently my Samsung DV328AEW-XAA dryer stopped heating up, but still tumbled. I bought a new heating element kit, replaced the heating element, thermal fuse, thermistor, and thermostat. Still no luck after that, so I replaced the main control board (MFSDV327L00) next. That is when I noticed that the original board had a burnt out and melted terminal where one of the wires that runs to the heating element connects. After replacing the board, the dryer was running and heating up just fine. I got a few loads done until later that day when I come to find I have no heat again. I looked at the board, and the same terminal is burnt out again.
I'm thinking this indicates a short in the wiring somewhere? Or maybe the signal to turn off the heat is not properly reaching the main board? I'm not sure, any help would be appreciated! I'll get a picture to show you exactly what is burning out.
Thank you! I appreciate all help, this forum helped me troubleshoot up until this point but I'm not sure what the next move is.
