So here's a funky one! My top loading washer fills and begans the agitation cycle, but only remains on for a minute or so and stops. We found out somewhere along the way that if we just leave it on, it will kick in for a few minutes, then turn ittself off. It continues to do this until it reaches the rinse cycle where it fills, pumps out, spins etc. to complete the cycle. It takes somewhere aroung 8 to 10 hours to finnish. I've ohmed out the motor and start switch, checked the door switch and level switch and inspected the motor to drive linkage. I decided that it was probably the timer and replaced it. But same deal. Any ideas for me?
