    wolf gas stove ignitor replacement

    Model Number: as36kI-6
    Brand: Other
    Age: 6-10 years

I am trying to replace the ignitor electrode on my gas wolf stove. I have removed the burner, the c clip and spring under the electrode. I can not get the electrode out. It seems the ignitor ring comes off- how?

Don't know exactly which Wolf stove you have but I have a CT36G/S and my ignitors started to act up (no ignite and/or keep igniting when gas is on) but my ignitors are attached with a little screw to the burner. I remove the two screws that fasten the burner and then remove the little screw that attaches the ignitor to the burner. Once the screw is off, you can wiggle the ignitor off the burner. Then removed the ignitor wire from the reignitor control on the control board under the stove. It turned out that a good scrape and brush did the trick for me. No replacement necessary. https://photos.app.goo.gl/h787pqt2NV8yzFa1A
