Hello,
Our freezer gets frosted very often and we don't know why. I kind of got used to it and defrost it every 15 days or so and all goes back to normal.

Toda though, while trying to get crushed ice, the mechanism made a "broken" noise and the left fridge door was being pushed open -toward me - just a few inches.
When I opened I realized that a piece of plastic whose apparent function is to hold the ice tray in place broke off the Motor Assembly DA97-12540G.

Is there a way to buy it? customer support on Dr Parts told me "no".

I am thinking of crazy glue.
Any suggestions? see pictures below.

PS: the ice maker was replaced once when warraty was still active.
Any suggestions on eliminating the frosting issue?
