Instruction Sheet 8273977 for Spark Control Module, part number W10331686 applies to many manufacturers and the pictures intended to help don't match my range therefore the "JUMPER" to be removed is unclear. Typically a jumper is on a board and not a plastic connector connecting two wires so I want to get it right.
"INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: On ranges with a warming drawer the rear screws on the RIGHT SIDE panel will have to be removed to gain access to the 120V conenctor plug and transformer wiring connector.
NO PROBLEM SO FAR. Would someone please confirm the JUMPER referred to on KitchenAid Range has two light gray conductors in a plastic connector in the back rear of the range?
Well I disconnected the "jumper" and the gas oven broiler lit and then went off. I have 3 of the 4 surface gas burners working not the double left front. It gets gas so I lit it manually to test.
Strange the broiler ignited once and then shut down.
