    Can I simply add a new crimp to end of heating element wire?

    HI all,
    my heating coil wire is now severed (and I can't even find the original crimp)

    Can I simply add a new crimp to the wire as it is? Click image for larger version.

    No, replace the heater. You can buy the coil and restring it. Will be a lot cheaper than buying the complete heater.
    Complete heater is part# WE11M23 and retails for around $129 restring kit is part# WE11x10007. retails for around $69
