GE Profile Refrigerator Won't Cool--Clicks every few seconds

    Model Number: PDS22SCRBRSS
    Brand: GE
    Age: 6-10 years

My GE Frig is clicking every few secs. When it is clicking it is not cooling or running. Every now and then it does run, but the digital display won't light up, and it also runs hot. The fan underneath by the compressor won't run. Am I looking at the cost of a new frig for repairing? Is it one problem or more than one problem? I would appreciate your input.

The control board is one of the more common failures on your model of GE Refrigerators.
As you can see from you list of symptoms, the control board controls many components on the fridge.
    Replace the control board with

    Main Control Board - Part # PD00000994 (mfg # WR55X10942)

    Have a great holiday weekend!
