Hi-

Just installed new icemaker DA97-05422A and replacement circuitboard that was recommended as old one was not newest version. Initial problem was grinding noise and low ice production.

I expected to at least hear water fill after I plugged unit back in .... but nothing - no ice, no noise after 20 minutes. Did I miss something??

You will need to wait for the ice maker to cool down before it will begin to produce ice again. I would give it 6-24 hours for it to cool down and start making ice. Let me know what happens after you give it some time.

Thanks Doc!!! After a few hours it started working perfectly. So quiet now I don't hear water fill or grinding... only the sweet sound of cubes dropping in the bucket. Thanks so much for the best prices on parts and superb customer service backed by your vast knowledge.
