My Samsung RFG297AARS refrigerator is leaking lots of water near the ice maker.
We had a small power outage - power going out and coming back 3-4 times within 2-3 minutes. Looks like, after that, the ice maker is leaking a lot of water and we had to switch off the water supply line to the refrigerator. We ordered a compatible ice maker model from Amazon and still, the water is leaking from the ice maker heavily.
We installed the new one and turned the faucet that let water into the refrigerator and it started leaking heavily within 1 minute (even before we connected the power and we had to turn off the water almost immediately). We could hear the water being filled in the ice maker as soon as we turned on the water supply to the refrigerator. I am surprised that water started filling the ice maker even before we switched on the power. It seems that the refrigerator does not know that the ice maker is filled with water (before switching on power) and overflows thru the ice maker.
More than the ice, we want to use the cold water to drink and use for cooking since it comes thru the refrigerator's filter.
The Ice maker we ordered, installed and still leaking - https://www.amazon.com/ForeverPRO-DA...03&s=hi&sr=1-7
Any help and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance
