Replaced Condenser Fan Motor But Still Doesn't Work?

    Model Number: GSS22KGMDWW
    Brand: GE
    Age: 1-5 years

Hi, we have a GE side by side refrigerator and the condenser fan motor behind the refrigerator stopped working. We ordered condenser fan motor part number WR60X10209 and installed it, but it didn't seem to take care of the problem. What else could be causing this problem?

The only other thing that controls the condenser fan motor is the main control board. Also, from my experience when the fan motor goes bad it usually burns out the main control board and both need to be replaced to permanently fix the problem.

This is the control board for your refrigerator:

    Main Control Board - Part # PD00000994 (mfg # WR55X10942)
